I've been using the old toilet-seat cover oil remover trick for years, but I finally broke down and bought myself some proper oil blotting sheets during my most recent trip to Sephora. I've used other brands in the past, and I must say: they're all great! The Sephora sheets do an amazing job at pulling the excess oils away from your skin, leaving your face shine-free. They're a snap to use...just press and viola! Shine-free skin. They've become a mid-day must have--a perfect addition to the "freshening up" routine in the mid-afternoon (blot away the shine, brush the hair, apply some lipstick).
The final verdict? Love 'em. I don't care if they're from Sephora, The Body Shop, or wherever, these suckers are a must-have. Stash them in your purse and you'll be gorgeous all day long. Ok, now this is sort of gross, but it's kind of fun to see how saturated the little blue sheets get from the oils in your skin. It's nasty, but you just can't help but look! So--they'll make you shine-free and pretty AND they'll amuse you. Not a bad combo.
