What did you think? I feel like I am always on the quest for the perfect hand cream. Half the time, I get a product with a nice scent but a crappy, greasy consistency; the other half of the time, I end up with a cream that doesn't provide any moisturizer. It's a tough battle. Because it was on sale, I grabbed a tube of Norwegian Formula Hand Cream to see how it would do.
The back of the tube says to apply just a little bit--since a little goes a long way. And boy are they right. If you make the mistake of squeezing out too much lotion, you'll wind up with sticky feeling skin--trust me, I've done it more than once. However, when used properly, this hand cream really seems to soften skin without too much of a greasy feel. Now, to be fair, I have only used this product at night before going to bed...a time when I am not overly concerned with having greasy hands. I don't know that I would be too quick to use this product during the day because of this cream's thickness. But it's that thickness that provides tons of moisture to dry, cracked skin. When I wake up in the morning, my hands feel soft and perfect.
I've used this hand cream on my elbows and feet and have had decent results. For moisture, you really can't go wrong. The one disappointing thing is that the hand cream doesn't have any scent. Now, either I bought the unscented version of this cream, or I'm just missing something, because there is no fragrance whatsoever. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, though I think I'd prefer at least a hint of a scent. Oh well!
The bottom line? I finally found a Neutrogena product I like! As I said before, this is the perfect "use before you go to bed" product. It delivers just what it promises--soft, smooth skin. It isn't the most exciting or sexy product in the world, but at least it does a decent job without breaking the bank.
