I just saw Grindhouse and I gotta say I loved it! All the blood, guts, sleaze, guns, fast cars, fake trailers, and missing scenes made this double feature amazingly fun. It's the best 3+ hours I've spent in the dark with my clothes on.In the first film, Robert Rodriquez's Planet Terror, Rose McGowan plays a go-go dancer named Cherry Darling, and I must say she wore the perfect lipstick throughout the flick. Even though she lost a leg and ended up shooting zombies with her machine gun stump, Cherry's lipstick never quit. It was the prettiest cherry red color and was flawlessly applied. Rose McGowan is a very fair skinned girl, but the red lipstick she wore was really flattering and, though she was wearing a lot of it, it didn't make her look overly made up. It makes me want to go out and try to find a perfect cherry red for myself.
If you're looking for something to do this weekend, go spend a few bucks and check out Grindhouse. It's like a modern-day Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! which is one of my all time faves. Unless you're overly squeamish or just can't appreciate good, campy cinema, you really can't go wrong with Rodriquez and Tarantino's latest creation! (Plus you just might pick up a few beauty tips with the great lipstick choices and killer eyeliner application!)
