If you're anything like me, you probably have at least a handful of lipsticks and glosses that looked amazing in the store, but look awful on you once you get them home. It's a sad fact of the cosmetics world--sometimes we can't stand the stuff we buy despite our best intentions.
In New York Magazine, one writer's quest to find the perfect pink lipgloss is chronicled. Check it out by clicking here. It's interesting to hear another person's adventures in finding the right shade. And once you read it, you'll be dying to get your own makeup custom blended for you! I know I can't wait to go over to the Prescriptives counter at Nordstrom's to get a whole "Lydia" line of makeup. I wonder if my checking account will like that? Probably not!
